Some operations require immediate access, high precision, or no margin for error.
Whether it’s a high-altitude worksite, a civil security mission, a scientific survey or a special event project, AEROAFFAIRES coordinates your aerial work using specially adapted aircraft, experienced crews and comprehensive logistical expertise.

We support local authorities, industrial operators, landowners, armed forces and private companies in carrying out their most sensitive missions. Our network of authorized operators covers the whole of Europe, and beyond.

Lifting, transport and technical logistics

Private aviation is becoming the most appropriatesolution for many technical missions. Helicopters, for example, enable us to intervene effectively on sites that are difficult to access or in sensitive environments, without ground infrastructure or prolonged business interruptions.

Lifting heavy materials

Installation of air-conditioning units, technical tanks, metal structures or roof structures: the helicopter operates vertically with unrivalled precision, with no need for ground clearance. We mobilize models such as the AS350 B3 or the Bell 412, capable of lifting up to 1,600 kg under sling.

Supply and freight transport

In parallel, STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) aircraft such as the Pilatus PC-12 are used to transport small equipment, spare parts or supplies to rough or unpaved airstrips, upstream or downstream of helicopter operations.

Personnel transport

Technicians, surveyors, fitters and engineers can be transported by helicopter for direct on-site drop-off. For inter-regional or cross-border flights, light aircraft with pressurized cabins can save several hours while guaranteeing smooth logistics. Whether for industrial, military or any other purpose.

Heli-lift & vertical drop

On pylons, roofs, floating platforms or in mountainous areas, heli-lifting enables targeted intervention where no aircraft can land.

Example: delivery of a prefabricated module to the roof of a landfill site in the Jura region, combined with personnel transport from Geneva via PC-12 and AS350.

Civil security, rescue and disaster control

Whether it’s preventing a natural hazard, evacuating a person in distress or restoring access after a disaster, business aviation offers a rapid, targeted and flexible response. AEROAFFAIRES mobilizes intervention helicopters, medical jets, and observation or coordination aircraft to cover all phases of an emergency mission: warning, transport, logistical support, withdrawal.

Firefighting

In the first few minutes after a fire breaks out, the ability to quickly drop water or foam is essential. Our water-bombing helicopters, equipped with flexible or integrated tanks, intervene as soon as the alarm is sounded, particularly in forested or peri-urban areas, or on private land.
At the same time, thermal observation aircraft (Cessna 208 or King Air type) can fly over the area to map active outbreaks, guide helicopters or anticipate spread.
We liaise between the aircraft in the air and the teams on the ground, for maximum efficiency, with no loss of time or coordination.

Monitoring sensitive networks

Some vital infrastructures require regular surveillance: high-voltage lines, pipelines, railroads to prevent metal theft, or major highways.
Our helicopters enable visual inspection at low altitude, or even stationary, to identify defects, encroachments or potential incidents.
For longer distances, we charter aircraft equipped with LIDAR, infrared or multispectral sensors, capable of covering several hundred kilometers in a single mission.
This service is aimed at network operators, local authorities and sensitive sites.

Medical evacuation (MEDEVAC)

Helicopters are the quickest way to extract an injured or sick person from an isolated site: alpine refuge, private estate, yacht, construction site or inaccessible event.
Our helicopters are configured for medical transport: on-board stretcher, oxygen, monitoring, team trained in medical boarding procedures. For more information, see our dedicated article.
For longer distances or international repatriations, we charter a pressurized medical jet (Learjet 45 or Citation Bravo type), with doctor on board and full coordination with the medical facility.

Humanitarian supply or crisis logistics

When a site is cut off from the rest of the world (flood, landslide, power failure), AEROAFFAIRES organizes emergency supply missions: food, drinking water, medical kits, generators.
Helicopters deliver directly to the point of need, with no need for runways or access roads.
For larger volumes, we deploy light cargo aircraft (Pilatus PC-12, Cessna Caravan) to local airfields, with a last-mile helicopter relay.
This system can be activated for local authorities, industrial players or isolated strategic sites.

Observation, mapping and technical surveys

Gathering information from the air with reliability, precision and extensive coverage

Technical aviation makes it possible to see what the ground hides. Thanks to on-board sensors, remote measurement systems and rigorous coordination, AEROAFFAIRES sets up observation or geo-technical survey missions fromspecialized light aircraft orfully-equipped helicopters.
We support developers, urban planners, farmers, architects, insurers and local authorities in their land analysis and modeling projects.

High-definition aerial photography and video

Aerial imagery can be used to document a site, monitor a worksite or enhance the value of a real estate asset. Our cameras are gyro-stabilized to produce crisp visuals at any altitude.

Applications: project monitoring, investor communication, property documentation.

3D mapping and photogrammetry

We carry out topographic surveys using photogrammetry to model a plot of land, evaluate volumes or support a building permit. Data is rendered in point clouds, orthophotos or 3D meshes.

Applications: development, urban planning, soil surveys.

Aerial thermography

Using on-board infrared cameras, our flights identify thermal leaks in buildings, greenhouses or buried networks. These flights are carried out under optimum contrast conditions (early morning or evening).

Target groups: farmers, property managers, local authorities.

Hyperspectral spectrometry

Mounted on aircraft, hyperspectral sensors detect elements invisible to the naked eye: soil quality, vegetative stress, pollutants. These data are mapped for agricultural or environmental analysis.

Remote operation and electro-detection

Some missions require non-intrusive surveys: underground cavities, buried networks, conductive structures.
Our light aircraft can be fitted with radar or electromagnetic systems to locate these elements at a distance.

Applications: brownfield redevelopment, security work, geotechnical engineering.

Permanent or ad hoc aerial surveillance

We deploy aircraft to monitor, detect or transmit essential data in real time. Here are just a few examples

  • Surveillance of forests and sensitive areas: fire prevention, fire detection, soil moisture monitoring.
  • Road and motorway surveillance: traffic, detour, accidents, emergency interventions.
  • Construction site photography: regular overflights for corporate or investor documentation.
  • Inspection of power lines and industrial structures: visual or sensor-based (IR, LIDAR).
  • Maritime or river pollution: post-incident overflights, slick mapping, coordination with port services.
  • Radio or mobile TV relay: maintaining a signal for major events or temporarily disconnected sites.
  • Surveillance and protection of resources: for example, railway companies use aerial surveillance of their sites to combat metal theft.

High-end agriculture and pastoralism

In mountainous areas, on terraced farmland or on large-scale vineyards, aerial intervention offers greater precision where ground-based resources are limited.

Phytosanitary treatments carried out by helicopter ensure even coverage of vines, orchards or olive groves, even on sloping ground.Seed or fertilizer spraying, particularly in mountain pastures or reforestation areas, can be carried out in a matter of minutes over several hectares.

Some missions also aim to accompany transhumance, by grouping or moving herds to the summer pastures, particularly in hard-to-reach areas. On-board sensors are also used to monitor crops: NDVI indices, detection of water stress, yield estimates.

Finally, in the event of a spring frost, our helicopters are mobilized in the early hours of the morning to save crops from the cold.

As soon as the first weather warnings are issued, AEROAFFAIRES can mobilize several helicopters to intervene at dawn in threatened vineyards. Our helicopters take off up to 30 minutes before sunrise, in strict compliance with regulations prohibiting night flights at very low altitude. In slow, low-flying conditions, the pilot searches for the inversion layer – a pocket of warmer air some twenty meters above the ground. The blast of the blades blows this air towards the vines, warming the plot by 2 to 3°C depending on conditions. This thermal mixing, combined with the smoke from lighted straw bales on the ground, designed to slow the sudden warming at sunrise, helps limit frost damage to exposed buds.

Aerial communication and display missions

Some aerial operations are designed not to transport, but to leave a lasting impression. They play on emotion, surprise or the power of a gesture visible from afar. These are spectacular actions, designed to capture the attention of a targeted audience, reinforce a brand’s image or assert a presence in a strategic territory.

Aerial advertising with giant banners

Often deployed over beaches, stadiums or large gatherings, this type of display captures attention in a matter of seconds. The banner, towed by a helicopter or airplane, carries a message visible for several kilometers, often used for seasonal advertising campaigns, private statements or one-off publicity operations.

Skywriting

This technique involves tracing letters with white smoke at high altitude. The result is ephemeral but spectacular, visible for several kilometers. It’s popular for event announcements, VIP declarations, or to underline the exclusive character of a luxury brand.

Scenic or artistic drops

Helicopters can be used for precise drops of petals, promotional materials or decorative elements. These operations are often integrated into VIP events, advertising shoots or open-air artistic performances.
