In accordance with the amended French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”), your personal information is intended for AEROAFFAIRES, the data controller.

AEROAFFAIRES respects your privacy and your rights regarding control over your personal data. We are transparent about the reasons for and nature of the data we collect, we protect your data scrupulously, and we do not sell your data to third parties: we have never done so and never will.

9.1 Data We Collect

Depending on your interactions with AEROAFFAIRES, we may collect:

Information you voluntarilyprovide to us (name, phone number, email address, billing address, payment information), particularly when you request a quote or a charter, or when you contact our customer service department.

Information collected automatically as you browse our site: device type, operating system and version, IP address, general geographic location inferred from the IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with content, as well as data from cookies and similar technologies.

Information obtained from other sources, including airline service partners or partners with whom we offer additional services (such as car rentals) or conduct joint marketing campaigns, as well as through social media platforms when you interact with us.

Regarding payment, we do not retain any information related to your credit card. Your payment information is used solely for the purpose of processing the requested service.

The provision of certain data is necessary to process your request: without it, we are unable to provide a quote, finalize a charter, or respond to you. Other data is optional, and failure to provide it will not affect the processing of your request.

9.2 Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes, each of which is based on a legal basis within the meaning of Article 6 of the GDPR:

Contract performance. To finalize your charter request or purchase, manage your account, track your order, handle cancellations, and resolve issues related to your transaction. This processing is necessary for the performance of the contract entered into with you (Art. 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Legitimate interest. To improve and personalize our offers, services, and website content; ensure security; detect and prevent fraud; resolve disputes; conduct statistical analysis and market research; and send you communications regarding our offers. This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f of the GDPR), while respecting your rights and freedoms.

Consent. Placement of certain non-essential cookies, electronic marketing, and targeted advertising. These processing activities are based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

Legal obligation. Compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations, particularly accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6.1.c of the GDPR).

9.3 Recipients and Data Sharing

AEROAFFAIRES does not and will never sell your personal data. We may share it only:

with independent service providers acting on our behalf (website hosting and management, payment processing, email communications), strictly to the extent necessary to provide the service you have requested;

in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case you will be notified by email or via a visible notice on our website, along with a reminder of your rights.

9.4 Transfers Outside the European Union

Your data may be stored and processed in France or in any other country where AEROAFFAIRES or its service providers are located. In the event of a transfer outside the European Union, AEROAFFAIRES implements appropriate safeguards, including the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

9.5 Retention Period

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected: providing services, following up on your request, complying with our legal obligations (including document retention requirements), resolving disputes, and fulfilling our agreements. The actual retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the specific purpose. If you have any questions about a specific retention period, please email us at info@aeroaffaires.com.

9.6 Security

AEROAFFAIRES implements appropriate technical and organizational measures, in accordance with industry standards, to protect your data against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Data is stored on restricted-access systems located in secure facilities and encrypted when transmitted over the Internet using the TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol. Since no system is infallible, we urge you to protect your login credentials and never share them with anyone. We will never ask you for your password.

9.7 Protection of Minors

AEROAFFAIRES does not target or seek to attract individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors under the age of 16 without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. If we learn that a minor under the age of 16 has provided us with data without such authorization, we will delete the information concerning them as soon as possible.

9.8 Your Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time when processing is based on consent, and to provide instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@aeroaffaires.com (or at the DPO’s address listed in Section 4) or by mail at: AEROAFFAIRES, 128 rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris, France. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, and no later than one month from receipt.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 – www.cnil.fr.
