Sion Airport is located in the canton of Valais, in the south of Switzerland. In the heart of the Alps, it has privileged access to the most luxurious Swiss ski resorts. It allows rapid access to the stations of Zermatt, Verbier, Saas-Fee and Gstaad, and also makes it easy to reach Geneva and Zurich by car.

A bit of history
Sion Airport is the only mixed airport in Switzerland, where both civilian and military flights have been operating since 1935. Every year, it hosts Switzerland’s largest air show, the Breitling Air show, where patrols from France and Frecce Tricoli perform impressive acrobatics.
