Berlin-Brandenburg “Willy Brandt” Airport (BER), located around 18 kilometres south-east of the centre of Berlin, is the German capital’s main airport. Designed to replace Tegel and Schönefeld airports and meet the growing demand for air transport in Berlin, Berlin-Brandenburg airport has a history of delays and construction challenges.
