Florence’s airport, Aeroporti di Firenze-Peretola Amerigo Vespucci, has been open since 1930. Since then, it has been continuously improved and expanded. A new terminal and a new runway have been built. The airport belongs to the Toscana Aeroporti S.p.A. group, which also operates Pisa airport.
