Namur: introduction
Namur airfield is a Belgian airfield located in Temploux and Suarlée, in the province of Namur.
History of the Namur aerodrome
- 1947 : the civil airfield of Namur is created
- 1983: due to lack of profitability, the airfield is privatised and bought by the Bertrand
- 2017 : the airfield is sold to Olivier de Spoelberch, Vanina Ickx and Benjamin de Broqueville
- 2018: the runway is paved
- 2019 : since this date, the Sonaca 200, an aircraft produced by Sonaca Aircraft, is assembled there
