The final approach to the airport gives you the first impression of the area you will land in with the custom-built aircraft. You can already see the typical landscapes along the runway. According to a study carried out with our passengers, we offer you our Top 10 of the most beautiful landings with private jets.

1/ St Moritz, Switzerland

St. Moritz Samedan Airport is the busiest airport for private jets during the winter season. From the window of your passenger seat you have a breathtaking view over the Swiss Alps and the Engadine Valley.

The 1,800-metre-long runway in the heart of the valley can accommodate many types of private aircraft such as turboprops, private jets or regional jets. It is also accessible to fully-loaded long-haul private jets such as the Gulfstream G550, the Bombardier Global 6000 or the Dassault Falcon 7X.

Located at an altitude of 1707 meters, the runway is regularly snow-covered but fortunately the airport is very well equipped for aircraft de-icing and has a few car parks.

Saint-Moritz is the most sumptuous ski resort in Europe. Many events take place there every year bringing together the most influential people in the world. We advise you to come to St. Moritz for the Snow Polo Cup or the White Turf races. You can travel by private jet to these unmissable Swiss events.

2/ Donegal, Ireland

In the heart of County Donegal, this small airport is a wonder to behold from the air. Situated on a peninsula at the foot of Errigal Mountain and on the Atlantic Ocean, the landing is a spectacular sight.

Its 1500 metre long runway allows any type of private aircraft by public transport to land there. The most commonly used aircraft on site are regional aircraft (Saab 340 or Embraer 145) and Pilatus PC-12 turboprops.

Enjoy a unique experience in Ireland by playing a round of golf or participating in hunts by transporting your equipment in the hold aboard our private jets (hunting weapons and golf clubs are allowed on our aircraft).

3/ Nice, France

Built on an artificial island, the approach to Nice airport is very impressive for our passengers in a business jet or helicopter.

The terminal dedicated to business aviation has a very high-end infrastructure that can accommodate all private jets and commercial aircraft. With 35,700 movements in 2019, Nice airport has become a real hub for private aviation. It ranks second in Europe in terms of traffic between Paris-le Bourget airport and Geneva airport.

The airport is only 15 minutes from Nice city centre. Join the Promenade des Anglais by car with a private driver or with a helicopter to get quickly to Monaco (7 minutes flight time).

4/ Barra, Ecosse

You’ll never forget landing on a sandy beach in Scotland. Before landing in a private plane, you will have a panoramic view of the whole island of Barra, dotted with hills and sandy beaches.

Only turboprops can land on this sandy runway. The airport is only accessible at low tide which severely restricts its accessibility.

From the island of Barra, it is easy to get to Oban to taste a renowned whisky after your round of golf at the Isle Of Seil Golf Club, accessible to our business clientele who come specially by private jet.

5/ London City, England

Set on an artificial island in the Thames, the final approach to London City Airport offers a breathtaking view of the city from the cabin of your private jet. You can see London’s business centre from the air and reach it very quickly by car or helicopter.

The airport is entirely dedicated to business aviation. As the runway is relatively short and requires a specific qualification, the number of private flights is limited.

For reasons of noise pollution, flights are only allowed on weekdays from 6.30 am to 9.30 pm. Saturdays from 6.30 to 12.30 and Sundays from 12.30 to 21.30.

Located on the outskirts of Battersea, we can arrange your helicopter transfer from the various London airports to your meeting point. Joining the city for a meeting with your investors can be perfectly combined with a city tour.

6/ The altiport of Courchevel, France

Courchevel airport offers a sumptuous view of the snowy summits. You will land at the foot of the ski slopes of the most exclusive resort in Europe.

Courchevel has an altiport with strict access conditions. It is not certified for night flights and air movements are limited to certain hours of the day if weather conditions require it. The runway, which is very short and steep, allows only two public transport certified aircraft to land there: the Vulcanair Aviator TP 600 and the Vulcanair P 68 Turbo Commander.

Courchevel 1850, the most prestigious of the resort’s 5 villages, has today become the privileged residence of a cosmopolitan jet-set that enjoys using business aviation to fly directly to the edge of the slopes by helicopter or private plane.

7/ Lugano, Switzerland

Lugano airport is located on the banks of the river Vedeggio, in the municipality of Agno. As you approach the landing, massive hills will rise up on either side of the windows, while at the end of the runway you will see the pure, flowing water of the river.

The airport handles over 20,000 movements a year. However, its short runway limits the number of planes able to land. Lugano Airport opens its doors to private jets 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:00. In the event of an emergency or an exception, it is possible to take off or land exceptionally between 07:00 and 08:00 and between 20:00 and 22:00.

Lugano is Switzerland’s third largest financial city behind Zurich and Geneva. It is a strategic destination for business travellers. It takes 20 minutes by car to get to the city centre of Lugano. If you wish to discover the region, the Italian cities of Vomo and Varese are close to the airport and the helicopter is a quick solution to reach the ski slopes.

8/ Ajaccio, France

Landing in Ajaccio gives you a great view of the island of Corsica. The airport built on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea. You will see all the beauty of the Corsican lands gradually approaching. You will pass over the beach and feel the wheels of the plane caressing the asphalt.

Today, the airport has more than 1.5 million passengers and nearly 34,000 movements per year. The airstrip can accommodate all private jets, but beware of the landing slots during the summer period. It is one of our customers’ preferred private jet destinations from May to October. The airport is often saturated during the summer limiting its access with slots to be anticipated.

9/ Gstaad, Suisse

The canton of Bern is home to the Gstaad-Saanen airstrip. It blends into the traditional landscape of the region in an original way. Take a taxi plane to see the ski areas and wooded horizons of the County of Gruyère.

Gstaad airport is a 5-minute drive from the ski resorts of Château d’Oex and Les Gouilles. Its 1400 metre long runway only accommodates turboprops for commercial flights by public transport (as opposed to private jets owned by owners). In case of bad weather conditions, we will divert your private jet to Bern or Sion.

Once you arrive at Saanen airport by private jet, we will organize your transfer by car with driver. We recommend the Gstaad Palace. After a day of skiing, dine at the gourmet restaurant Le Sommet.
