Location & access
Aracachon airfield is located in the municipality of La Teste-de-Buch, 4.5 km south-east of Arcachon in the Gironde department.
AEROAFFAIRES offers you to book a car with driver to get there. Depending on your needs, we can provide you with a Limousine, Mercedes S-Class or Viano.
The Arcachon airfield has a short asphalt runway of 1400 metres and can thus only accommodate turboprop engines (Aviator or P 68 for instance).
AEROAFFAIRES therefore advises you to land in nearby airports, such as Bordeaux, and then to be transferred by helicopter.
For a transfer by AS 350 (which can hold 5 passengers) from Bordeaux to Arcachon or from Bordeaux to Cap Ferret, count 25 minutes and from 1170 € HT for 5 people.
The coordinates of the airport are:
- Airport code : XAC
- Latitude: 44,596N
- Longitude: 1.110W
- Altitude: 16 m
- Length of the tracks: 1180 m (grass track) and 1400 m (asphalt track)
