History of Augsburg Airport
- 1968 : The airport officially opens its doors.
- 1986 : Interot Airways starts scheduled services to Düsseldorf.
- Early 1990s : The network expands and the airports of Berlin, Cologne, Dresden, Hamburg and Leipzig are added.
- 1995 : International flights from the airport are inaugurated.
- 1996 : The airline reduces its presence at Augsburg Airport in favour of Munich Airport.
- 2002 : the last routes are discontinued.
- 2005 : Passenger traffic ceases and the focus shifts to general and business aviation.
- 2016 : passenger traffic resumes.
