Location & access
The airport is located 4 km from Innsbruck’s city centre in the Kranebitten district. It is easily accessible in a few minutes by car by taking the Austrian motorways A12 and A13.
AEROAFFAIRES offers to book you a car with driver to take you to your hotel or the place of your choice. Mercedes S-Class, Viano, Limousine… we will have the vehicle you need at your disposal.
AEROAFFAIRES also proposes you to rent a helicopter to reach the top of the slopes or to discover the area from the sky.
Its 2000-metre long asphalt runway allows all types of aircrafts to land, such as turboprop engines, light or medium private jets, as well as regional and wide-body planes such as the Boeing 767-200ER.
However, pilots require a special qualification because landing there is made difficult by the 30% inclination of its slope and its 5-metre elevation.
