History of Munich Munchen Airport

Between 1939 and 1992, Munich City Airport was Munich Riem Airport. From 1954 onwards, the project for a new airport emerged, but it was not built until 1980. The work took nearly 12 years and all airport activities were transferred on May 17, 1997.
Since then, Munich Munchen International Airport has continued to expand and grow. A project to create a third track is underway but the surrounding population, fiercely opposed, is currently blocking its implementation.

Another airport accessible to private jets in Munich, Oberpfaffenhn Airport, is located 20 km southwest of the city. Munich Oberpfaffenhn is entirely dedicated to business aviation and has two airport service operators.

Recommandations

We recommend that you book a room at Charles Hotel, a 5-star hotel with a warm contemporary design, a prestigious Italian restaurant and a state-of-the-art modern spa with a large indoor pool.

While in Munich, enjoy a customer lunch or dinner with family or friends prepared by the chef Tohru Nakamura, at the gourmet restaurant Geisels Werneckhof.

Finally, if you have some time left, why not visit the Nymphembourg Castle? It was once the summer residence of the Bavarian prince-electors and kings, and the famous Ludwig II of Bavaria was born there.

AEROAFFAIRES also offers you a point-to-point helicopter rental service to connect the arrival airport to the city centre; an opportunity to discover the city from the sky and optimise your time.

Choosing AEROAFFAIRES is the assurance of finding the right device for your needs, which will save you time and money.
