The altiport of Mégève is located 7 km southeast of the village of Mégève, at the bottom of the slopes.
You will need to, by car:

- 40 minutes from Chamonix, Alberville
- 1h15 from Annecy

If its 434-metre concrete runway is snow-covered, it is not open to rental aircrafts.
When the altiport opened in the 1960s, it was first operated by an airline that equipped its planes with ski. For a long time, the runway was not accessible to commercial planes because of its short length, but since 2016, if it is well plowed, it is possible to charter light private planes, such as an Aviator or a P 68.
