History of the city of Porto Cervo
In 1962, Prince Karim Aga Khan Ismaili was seduced by the beauty of the landscape. He decided to buy the land and to join forces with the owners of San Pellegrino and Patrick Guiness to create a 55 km area reserved for the international jet set. The prince’s main objective was the promotion of tourist real estate, which is a successful challenge!
