History of Prague Kbely Airport

Opened in 1918, Prague Kbely Airport was the city’s first airfield. When Vaclav Havel Airport opened, it was taken over by the army, which still occupies part of the premises.

Today, the airport houses the Aviation Museum and 275 models of civil and military aircrafts can be found there.
