The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a long-haul aircraft. It is a product of the manufacturer Boeing. The American aircraft manufacturer has succeeded in building a plane that can carry between 200 and 300 people. The 787 Dreamliner has a range of up to 14,140 km. This relatively long range is made possible by fuel consumption that is 20 to 25% lower than that of its competitors. As a result, it is possible to fly between London and Beijing, Paris-Bangkok and Singapore-Dubai.

The origins of the Boeing 787-9

Production of the Boeing Dreamliner began in 2009. It had previously been launched in 2004. The main objective of this aircraft was to support the A380 fleet, which was considered too expensive. The aircraft’s success is also due to its unique and innovative production process. This is the first aircraft to be built 80% by subcontractors. Boeing called on several industrial companies to produce and assemble the aircraft. It was a revolution in aircraft construction.
