Description of BELL 206

The Bell 206 is a successful helicopter manufactured by Bell Helicopter, often used for traffic surveillance, medical emergencies and business transport. Originally developed as the Bell YOH-4 for the U.S. Army’s Light Observation Helicopter program, it was not selected by the military. Bell redesigned the cabin and successfully commercialized the aircraft as the Bell 206A JetRanger. The new design was eventually selected by the Army as the OH-58 Kiowa. Equipped with a single Mono Turbine engine, the helicopter can transport four passengers.

Commercial features of BELL 206
