EATIS is an airline offering business flights and various training courses at their flight school. The company was founded in 2015 with its main activity being the training of professional pilots. In 2017, the company decided to add another string to its bow and embarked on business aviation.

EATIS was founded in 2015 to train pilots and offer discovery flights.

The airline has an aviation school where you can do private or professional training. These courses are recognised worldwide and are given by the best instructors in aviation.

Private training allows you to obtain several qualifications:

• The PPL (A) licence. This is the private pilot’s licence. This licence allows you to fly motorised aircraft and carry passengers in many countries.
• LAPL (Light Aircraft Pilot Licence). Following this training, you will be able to fly aircraft not exceeding 2 tonnes throughout the European Union.

Professional training allows you to obtain more than fifteen licences. To name just two of the most popular:

• ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License): this is the highest level European pilot licence. After 18 months’ training, you can become an airline pilot.
• Night rating. This qualification validates your ability to fly at night, which may be useful if you want to fly privately.

Finally, EATIS has experienced instructors who will give you a unique flying experience and help you learn the profession of pilot in the best possible conditions.

EATIS and discovery flights

EATIS gives you the opportunity to learn aerobatics on a Cap10 C. This introductory flight includes 45 minutes of instruction followed by 20 minutes of flight in the company of a professional. EATIS also offers introductory flights on DA40s. This introductory flight includes 45 minutes of instruction followed by not 20 minutes of flight, but 30 minutes! Prices: 200 euros for 30 minutes and 160 euros for 20 minutes.

So if you’re interested, all you have to do is fill in a form on their website at least 72 hours in advance, and you’ll be in for a thrilling experience.

Business aviation with EATIS airline

Since 2017, EATIS has broadened its scope incivil aviation and now offers flights to private individuals and professionals.

To give their customers a unique experience, EATIS offers more than 10,000 destinations from Strasbourg, the Grand Est region and surrounding airports . When booking their flight, customers can choose between two aircraft. The first, the Honda Jet, is aimed at customers with limited time who are concerned about flight quality. The EATIS airline fleet

EATIS has a fleet of five aircraft. Of these five aircraft, two are used for business flights and the other three are used by the flight school.

As mentioned above, the DA62 and the HondaJet are used for business flights. These two aircraft offer customers speed and safety. The DA62 is an Austrian aircraft capable of long-haul flights and seating up to 7 passengers. The HondaJet is a twin-engine business jet. Its lightness means that it is relatively faster than other aircraft, while consuming less fuel.

Finally, the professional pilots at EATIS will take you on a magical flight in one of these two aircraft. And you can be sure of a quality take-off and landing.

To train pilots EATIS has three aircraft with rather similar characteristics: the DA 40, the DA 42 and the cap10C.

The first aircraft, the Diamond DA40, is a training aircraft, but also a travel aircraft. However, it is more often used for training purposes. This aircraft is ideal for training, as its composite construction makes it easy to fly.

The second aircraft, the Diamond DA42, has been a huge success with flying schools for some years now. It is a derivative of the Diamond DA40. It’s a very light twin-engine Austrian aircraft that offers safety and manoeuvrability.

And finally, the Cap10C is an aerobatic aircraft. It was the benchmark aircraft of the 1970s and was used extensively for training Air Force pilots.

Finally, EATIS has a complete fleet, enabling it to allocate the ideal aircraft to each flight category and to train novices in the best possible conditions.
