How to I book ?

Contact our flight experts at +33 (0) 1 44 09 91 82, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Tell us the date you want, the number of people and your budget. If you are sure you want to take a helicopter flight in New York, book it at the beginning of your stay as it is a very popular experience.

How much does a helicopter ride in New York cost?

Several itineraries are possible depending on your budget, the flight duration and the route. In all cases, you should count a minimum of 200€ per person; children do not have a preferential rate. The fare also includes an amount corresponding to the heliport tax. It is about 35€ per person.

Who can participate in the tour?

Anyone can participate. Pregnant women just need to have confirmation from their doctor and we will make sure that people with reduced mobility receive special assistance. If you are travelling with a child under the age of 2 years old, he or she will have to be on your lap and therefore will not pay. The tour is relatively comfortable and there will be no strong sensation. Being airsick in a helicopter is very rare.

Practical information

Do I have to book in advance?

Yes, you have to book as far in advance as possible. If you don’t book and go directly to the heliport, you will not be guaranteed a flight during the day, no matter how many hours you wait on site.

Can I choose the departure time?

It depends. Sometimes you have a choice, but most often you only book a day (Monday to Saturday) and we let you know the schedule a little later, which also allows us to adapt in case of bad weather.

If you have a choice, we recommend you to choose afternoon flights between 2 and 3 p.m., or sunset flights, as they offer magnificent light.

When do I pay the heliport tax?

The heliport tax is paid on site the day of your flight. It is included in the price of the tour so it does not count as an additional charge.

How many seats are there?

Normally 6 plus the pilot, but this has to be confirmed with us.

How do I get to the heliport?

The departure point of almost all helicopters is at the same place.

Address: Downtown Manhattan Heliport, Pier 6 and the East River, New York, NY 10004

If you don’t know how to get there, check out this link. We can arrange for a car with driver to take you there.

For night tours, the meeting point will probably be Linden Airport.

What happens once I’m there?

Once there, you must check in, drop off your belongings in free lockers and then listen to security measures.

Don’t forget to bring your ID. You will not be able to bring any personal belongings on board except your camera. Food and beverages will be prohibited.

Audioguides will be available in French.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Cancellation is free for most tours if you cancel at least 24 hours before your departure.

How do I dress on the day of the flight?

You can dress the way you want but we recommend that you have pockets to put your personal belongings in, as the bags are not allowed on board. Give preference to dark clothes to avoid reflections in the glass windows of the cabin.

Some last recommendations

Even if the flight is short, the trip to the heliport takes time and you have to be there 45 minutes before departure. So count half a day for this activity if you want to be serene.

Lovers of photography or beautiful landscapes will not be disappointed. We advise you to take a camera that contains an integrated optical stabilizer and a wide-angle lens to get the best out of your photos.
