HONDAJET HA 420: introduction
Hondajet HA 420 : A high-tech private jet with a unique lookThe Hondajet, a light private jet, is the first born from the HONDA brand that will revolutionize business aviation. Its official certification took place in December 2015. The HondaJet HA-420 is available for rental in Europe and the U.S. The HondaJet is the innovation of a decade of work by engineers at Honda Aircraft Company. It’s an ultra-light, innovative private jet thanks to its low kerosene consumption, with a very comfortable interior and toilet (unlike the Jet Mustang, in the same category). This state-of-the-art aircraft is distinguished by its over-wing motorization, which makes the cabin spacious and very quiet. Equipped with comfortable seats for all 5 passengers, the HondaJet HA 420 is ideal for fast, comfortable private flights, such as a trip from Paris to Saint-Tropez or Geneva to Berlin, making it easy to connect these destinations with optimum performance and efficiency.

In keeping with the Honda spirit, the HondaJet is at the cutting edge of technology. In terms of technical performance, the HondaJet reached a speed of 787 km/h or Mach 0.73 at 10,00 meters above ground level. The positioning of the engines above the aircraft’s wings contributes to improving the performance of this private jet and, above all, its environmental impact by reducing aerodynamic drag. This innovation on a business jet improvesnoise insulation both in the cabin for passengers and on the ground for local residents in the area overflown. This engine layout saves space in the fuselage, both for the cabin and the baggage compartment. The HondaJet is equipped with two high-efficiency GE Honda HF120 turbofan engines, and a further innovation is the natural laminar flow (anti-turbulence) wings, which reduce the private jet’s drag coefficient and increase its aerodynamic lift coefficient. These innovations make the HondaJet 30% to 35% more economical than other business jets in its class, and the ultra-light HondaJet private jet is made entirely of composite materials to reduce weight and production costs, making it an attractive purchase.
From the outside, its dimensions are similar to those of other very light business jets such as the Citation Jet Mustang or the Embraer Phenom 100, and it can accommodate up to 5 passengers in its cabin, with toilet facilities and a mini-bar for in-flight refreshments. Finally, the innovative cockpit, featuring a Garmin 3000 GPS, has a separable design. All the data the captain needs is displayed on large HD screens, with a focus on safety and functionality.

HondaJet: a brief history
Developed by the Japanese company Honda, the HondaJet quickly became a great success. After its maiden flight in December 2003, nearly 300 orders were received, valued at $10 million. In Europe, there’s no doubt that the HondaJet is set to upset the standards set by the Mustang Jet, which dominates business aviation.
