The Falcon 8X cabin offers the best soundproofing on the market, an unrivaled level of comfort and an exceptional choice of up to 30 different layouts. The Falcon 8X offers non-stop long-haul flights between Beijing and New York, or Singapore and London. It also has the ability to land at challenging airports, such as London City.
In terms of interior design, the aircraft has many new features in store. The cabin is the longest in the Falcon family. It offers an unrivaled level of comfort and an exceptional choice of some thirty possible layouts.
Crews greatly appreciate the 3D weather radar when flying the aircraft. This makes flying more comfortable. In addition, the shelves are longer, making on-board meals more enjoyable. At the end of the flight, the central engine no longer needs to be covered. It has its own storage system. This eliminates the need for pilots to staircase the wings.
In addition to the very spacious and luxurious cabin for passengers, Dassault Aviation has taken great care to enhance the piloting experience. This corporate jet has won several awards. In particular, it has been named the “most pleasant jet to fly” by pilots, who describe it as a “flying carpet”. Dassault Aviation CEO Eric Trappier describes the aircraft as a “precise response to customer expectations”.
Outwardly, the Falcon 8X is very similar to the Falcon 7X. The only way to tell them apart is by observing the windows and its supersonic line. The windows are distributed as follows: 16 for the Falcon 8X and 14 for the 7X. The Falcon 8X continues the traditions of the Falcon range in terms of performance, flexibility, comfort and operating costs.
Its third engine (a distinctive feature of the Dassault Aviation business jet range) gives it access to short runways. These short runways only accommodate smaller corporate aircrafts. More than 3,000 airports and airfields can accommodate these airplanes. Even greater flight safety for long distance trips.
The Falcon 8X features a crew rest configuration in the forward section of the aircraft. For long-haul private jet flights on scheduled routes, especially at night, a third pilot joins the crew. This allows the crew to rest in the best possible conditions. The catering area features improved lighting, making it easier for flight crews to cook on board.
The 8X can accommodate 12 to 18 passengers in two separate, highly comfortable areas. The cabin, quieter than the 7X, has 6 beds, including a double bed that can be converted for night flights. In some 8X models, a shower is also available, as well as the latest-generation toilets (with suction rather than chemical drainage).

Falcon 8x: a little history
The Dassault Falcon 8X, introduced in 2014, represents the pinnacle of Dassault Aviation‘s aeronautical engineering. Designed as an extension of the Falcon series, the 8X offers a spacious cabin, an impressive range of nearly 7,500 nautical miles and remarkable fuel efficiency.
This long-haul trijet was developed in response to growing customer demand for business jets offering both extended range and exceptional comfort. With its technological innovations and cockpit equipped with the latest advances in avionics, the Falcon 8X embodies Dassault’s commitment to excellence.
Since its launch, it has been widely acclaimed for its versatility, performance and elegance, consolidating Dassault Aviation’s reputation as a leader in luxury business aviation.
When designing the Falcon 8X, Dassault rethought all major structures and systems, adapting and optimizing them into an integrated, efficient airframe. New internal wing architecture both lightens the wing structure and provides more room for fuel while new winglets reduce drag to boost efficiency. The fuselage houses more fuel without reducing passenger space and landing gear has been reinforced to provide for additional payload.
