Hamburg Airport is open 24 hours a day for landings and take-offs of all types of aircraft. Out of respect for local residents, Hamburg Airport has a night flight ban for private jets. Thus, private flights are only permitted between 6 am and 11 pm. Between 11pm and midnight, only late planes are allowed to take off and land. Outside these hours, take-off and landing is only allowed in emergencies or for medical flights. Please note that flights outside regular flight times are surcharged by 200%.
