History of Lille Airport

During the Second World War, the Germans seized the site and made it an important military base. After the war and numerous changes of name, the aerodrome was renamed Lille Lesquin and opened to passenger traffic.

Today, Lille is an attractive city that is increasingly developing business tourism through trade fairs and congresses, which enhance the reputation of its airport.
