History of London Farnborough Airport

United Kingdom’s first aerodrome, London Farnborough Airport served as a base for the first motorized flight in 1908. During both wars, it was requisitioned by the Royal Air Force and remained the property of the British Ministry of Defense until 1989 .

It became fully dedicated to business and private aviation in 1994, and was acquired by TAG in 1997. Since then, its official name is “TAG Farnborough Airport”. Every two years, he hosts the TAG Farnborough Air Show, the British equivalent of the Paris Air Show.
