The Airbus A330-200F cargo jet, in service since 2010, is one of the most modern cargo aircraft in the world.
The A330-200F jet is 17 m high and is capable of transporting 65 tons of cargo, either in the form of pallets or containers, over 7400 km. The evidence has demonstrated that at least 16 pallets (95 x 95 x 125) can be accommodated on-board. It can carry up to 70 tons if travelling over shorter distances.
In addition, its reliability rate is more than 99.6%, for an in-service use that reaches 400 flight hours per month. It outperforms its predecessor, the Airbus A300, as it is able to accommodate 30% more volume at a cost per ton that is 13% lower than its competitors. To achieve this, it uses the latest innovations to reduce CO2 emissions and has a reinforced fuselage that better meets shear stresses.
The A330-200F cargo jet produces less noise and emits fewer emissions than most cargo planes on the market today. Overall, it is a high-performing, cost-effective jet.
