Description of Embraer 170
The Embraer 170 is an aircraft designed for short-haul flights and connections. It is often used to transport passengers during seminars, sports events or special operations. The aircraft has a spacious cabin with wider seats and larger windows than most jets.
The Embraer 170 is the first member of the E-Jet family of commercial aircrafts designed by Embraer. The 170 is the smallest of the four (E170, E175, E190, E195). This twin-engine airliner has 76 seats, compared to 100 seats for the Embraer 190.
The first E170 was ordered by LOT Polish Airlines in 2004. The biggest customer was Shuttle America until 2017; it is now Republic Airways. By 2019, nearly 160 aircrafts were in service.
