Description of EMBRAER E170
The Embraer 170 is an aircraft designed for short-haul flights and connections. It is used to transport passengers during seminars, sport trips or special operations for example.
It is the first member of the E-Jets family of commercial aircrafts designed by Embraer. The 170 is the smallest of the four (E170, E175, E190, E195). It is a twin-engine plane with 76 seats, compared to 100 seats for the Embraer 190.
The first E170 was ordered by LOT Polish Airlines in 2004. The biggest customer was Shuttle America until 2017; it is now Republic Airways.
By 2019, nearly 160 aircrafts were in service.
