Description of H125
The H125 distinguishes itself from all other single-engine helicopters by its performance, versatility, low maintenance and low acquisition costs, and stands out in hot and extreme environments.
In 2005, the H125 broke the world record for highest altitude landing and takeoff on Mount Everest at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet), a record it still holds today. The H125 has been the undisputed leader in its class for 30 years. In fact, in May 2013, this helicopter performed the world’s highest line rescue operation on Lhotse, the fourth highest mountain in the world, located in the Himalayas, at 7,800 meters (25,590 feet).
There are approximately 950 H125s currently in service worldwide, and they are primarily intended for high-performance missions in extreme and hot conditions.
