This business jet, Citation VII, has been modernized several times to differentiate it from the Citation III, notably by increasing take-off, climb and cruise performance, and integrating a new electronic flight control system. Production of the Citation VII ended with the launch of the new Citation Sovereign project in 2000, with 119 aircraft built.
