GlobeAir was founded by Bernhard Fragner, an aviation enthusiast. After spending his childhood building Lego aeroplanes, he went on to study engineering in Vienna. This means that anyone can enjoy a cheap flight on a private jet. However, the dates are not flexible, nor are the departure times or destinations. Also, these flights are generally available at the last minute, depending on the various charter requests for private jets.
Nevertheless, the fares for 4 people are very attractive. Prices start from €590 for a Toulouse – Paris flight by private jet. For a flight from London to Geneva, some flights are available at €3,690.
Travel arrangements with GlobeAir
GlobeAir operates in the business aviation market, carrying millions of passengers. This differs from commercial aviation, which is more demanding and does not offer the option of chartering private jets. In business aviation, there are no plane tickets or check-in requirements. Only the contract and proof of payment for the flight give you access to the private jet. As mentioned above, GlobeAir’s fleet of business jets is made up entirely of a single model: the Cessna Citation Mustang. Certified and recognised for its efficiency, the Citation Mustang is ideal for short-haul journeys. With a flight range of 2,100 km, long-haul flights are out of the question. However, it is ideal for both domestic and international routes across Europe, unlike other types of aircraft. The Citation Mustang operates perfectly as a taxi plane.
