Paris Issy-les-Moulineaux Heliport: a little history
Before Paris Aéroport became the concessionaire and the City of Paris acquired the land in 1956, the Issy-les-Moulineaux Heliport was a veritable aerodrome. Many aviation pioneers passed through its doors, including Blériot and the Farman brothers.
From the 1960s onwards, its surface area was gradually reduced as a result of urban development by the City of Paris.
Even today, its fame remains linked to the aeronautical history of the commune of Issy-les-Moulineaux, which at the beginning of the XXᵉ century was a mecca for French aviation.
