Recommandations
Mainz is an ideal starting point for a tour through the Rhine Valley.
As you stroll through the city, you will discover the historic city centre, which was rebuilt after the Second World War, the imposing cathedral and the Gutenberg Museum.
Mainz is famous for its wines and has a wide range of top-quality restaurants. We recommend the Kronenschlösschen, a chic restaurant with an ornate ceiling. Here you can enjoy fine cuisine as well as wines from their own cellar.
