The Falcon 2000, one of the jewels of the aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation, is an excellent air transport option for passengers familiar with business aviation. The exceptional performance of this wide-body aircraft makes it a favourite among our customers.
The French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation was founded in 1929 by Marcel Bloch and is still run by his descendants today. Specialised in business and military aviation, Dassault now also venturing into space travel. The history of the Falcon 2000 dates back to 1989, when the project was named Falcon X. The aircraft flew for the first time in 1993 and was certified by the EASA in 1994.
Different versions and technical advances
Many versions of this aircraft have followed one another since its conception in the 1990s. The latest model, the Falcon 2000LXS, dates from 2013-14. The improvements made to this model series include engine power, extended range, reduced approach speeds and landing distances, and cabins with greater comfort.
Falcon 2000: aircraft interior
The 2000 version offers a range of 5,000 km. An intercontinental aircraft par excellence, the Falcon 2000 and its various modernised versions are a benchmark in VIP business aviation. The generous space onboard allows for the presence of a flight attendant and the baggage compartment holds 14 medium-sized suitcases.
