Business aviation with Evolem Aviation

What is business aviation?

Business aviation is the tailor-made air transport of passengers for non-tourist purposes. Air brokers carry out research to find the best possible solution for the customer’s needs at the best possible price. Its strength lies in its responsiveness and availability to assist customers throughout the booking process. Business aircraft are distinguished from commercial and scheduled aircraft by their ability to take off and land on short runways. This enables it to serve small airfields. It also requires less infrastructure, as it has a retractable staircase, for example, which replaces the gangway.
Business aviation covers different types of activities and missions. Customers can choose between VIP flights, cargo flights, medical flights and group flights for company seminars, for example.
The advantages of business aviation are numerous, including time savings, flexibility, safety and comfort. This mode of travel is therefore presented as a productivity tool for companies. Business jets offer safety levels equal to or better than those of commercial aircraft.

What are the advantages of Evolem Aviation?

Evolem Aviation was a Lyon-based airline, ensuring the highest standards of insurance, safety and maintenance for its aircraft. It held an Air Carrier Certificate. Its team was available 24/7. It was therefore able to provide an aircraft whatever the date or number of passengers. You could fly as you wished, thanks to personalised and accessible business or private trips.
The company had 1,000 airports at its disposal, so you could travel anywhere in Europe and the Mediterranean basin. What’s more, you were offered unrivalled flexibility and comfort. A dedicated business aviation terminal was designed to make your life easier (car park, VIP lounge, etc.). You could also make several stops in one day and decide to delay or bring forward your take-off time.

Evolem Aviation in figures

Here are some of the company’s key figures:

  • 1,000: the number of airports accessible in Europe and the Mediterranean basin
  • 24/7: the availability of our teams
  • 15 min: the waiting time after your arrival at the airport

The Evolem Aviation fleet

The airline had at its disposal the Phenom 300 private jet, produced by the Brazilian aeronautics company Embraer. Embraer has been developing a range of business jets since the late 1990s, building on its regional jet business. The Phenom 300 is a twin-engine jet whose range, speed and competitive price make it a strong contender. It offers the perfect balance between load capacity, range and performance. The aircraft, which is around 15 metres long, is equipped to carry up to 6 passengers and has a large baggage compartment.
The Phenom 300 ranks among the best light jets, with a five-passenger range of 3,723 km and a cruising speed of 830 km/h. With best-in-class climb and terrain performance, the Phenom 300 costs less to operate and maintain than its peers. The aircraft is capable of flying at 13,700 metres and maintains a range of 3,600 km.
Evolem Aviation ensured your trip with a team of two qualified, French-speaking pilots. The company’s captains and co-pilots were regularly inspected and undergo training to ensure compliance with safety regulations. The team accompanied you throughout your flight and was at your disposal as soon as you arrived at the airport.

The company’s activities

The Phenom 300 can travel non-stop from Geneva to the Azores thanks to its range. What’s more, the aircraft can land on short runways, making it one of the most popular light jets on the market. Business aviation picks you up at the most convenient airport and takes you to your nearest destination. So you can avoid delays, queues and connections that slow down your flight. On the day of your trip, Evolem Aviation will arrange a taxi to take you to the departure point at the time of your choice.
In Europe, 10 airports are accessible by private jet, compared with only 1 by commercial aircraft. The company flies over the Mediterranean basin and takes you to the 4 corners of Europe, from Amsterdam to Lisbon, via Figari. Your jet will drop you off in London, Istanbul or Marrakech.

Travel arrangements with Evolem Aviation

In business aviation, baggage policy depends on the model of private jet chartered. Evolem Aviation flew the Phenom 300, which offers a hold baggage compartment with a volume of 2.2m3, or up to 3 suitcases. The cabin can also accommodate 3 pieces of hand luggage.
Business aviation gives you access to private terminals, or FBOs. This means that your waiting time at the airport is shorter than in commercial aviation, and does not last several hours. In fact, it’s only about 15 minutes. So you don’t need a boarding pass – the private terminal staff will take you straight to your aircraft.
