Pan Européenne Air Service (PEAS), or more commonly known as Pan Européenne, is a French airline. It is based at two airports, Lyon and Chambéry. Its head office is at Chambéry airport in Savoie. Pan Européenne has another base at Lyon Bron. This airline specializes in business aviation and on-demand aviation. It also has its own fleet of private jets. Take off now to discover the history of this airline, as well as its actions and the fleet of private jets that belong to the airline and with which it operates on the private aviation market.

The history of the Pan European airline.

Pan Européenne was founded in 1977 on the initiative of its chairman, Bernard Guichon.

Under Bernard Guichon’s leadership, Pan Européenne experienced significant growth and consolidated its position in the business aviation market. It rapidly became one of the leading airlines. His effective leadership and strategic vision enabled the company to meet the challenges of the sector and seize new opportunities.

Bernard Guichon is renowned for his expertise in finance and business management. He has extensive experience in the financial sector and held a number of senior positions before joining Pan Européenne. His in-depth knowledge of the financial markets and his ability to anticipate trends have enabled him to guide the company to success.

In France, it is one of the leading airlines operating in the business aviation market. It began its on-demand aviation activity as an air taxi.

The French airline is headquartered at Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport. Later, it will have another base at Lyon Bron airport (which opened in 1987).

For its first flight, the airline equipped itself with its first private aircraft, Piper Aztec PA 23 models. At that time, the French airline operated daily scheduled flights for postal deliveries for the Jet Services company.

Pan Européenne flew regular routes to the cities of Niort and Poitiers, in particular. The air transport company carries out missions for Crédit Agricole, sending cheques from the company’s bank and other items quickly and urgently.

From 1997 and for 4 years, Pan Européenne owned Sinair, an airline based at Grenoble airport. Pan Européenne began operating this airline at the request of the Savoie Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The request was simple: to operate the scheduled service between Paris and Chambéry, as the company that had been doing so had withdrawn.

The Pan-European airline and its business aviation activity:

The French airline carried 2,660 passengers in 1997. In 2019, its business tripled. Pan Européenne carried more than 8,700 passengers on long-haul, medium-haul and direct flights. The aeronautical company, as well as its ground and flight staff (hostesses, pilots, etc.), has evolved considerably over the years.

Today, the airline operates in air traffic only for on-demand national aviation services and tailor-made flights. It does not, therefore, operate in the commercial aviation niche (traditional or low-cost airlines such as Transavia, Wow, Easy Jet, etc.).

Pan Européenne is based close to ski resorts such as Méribel, the Three Valleys and Courchevel. It is in the heart of the French Alps that the airline offers tailor-made flights (aviation sur-mesure). The diversity of its fleet of aircraft means it can offer flights for 5 to 49 passengers.

Among the many airlines that carry millions of passengers every year, Pan Européenne operates exclusively for business aviation. It can therefore offer aircraft for business aviation for professionals and business owners wishing to develop their SME or ETI, for example, but not only. In fact, the advantage of tailor-made aviation is that it can offer other types of flights and services, depending on the circumstances and constraints of the journey, to suit the passengers.

Pan Européenne provides :

The French airline has access to over 700 airports with direct flights.

It mainly serves destinations in Europe, but also serves other FBOs under international air traffic control in North Africa and the Middle East.

Its flight crews are trained to ensure that journeys are safe and comfortable.

The Pan European airline’s fleet of private jets :

The airline operates several types of aircraft, although it does not specialise in long-haul flights and its registrations are generally more civil aviation. However, the company is one of a number of private airlines that do register some aircraft.

Pan Européenne is anEmbraer Authorized Service Center for two of its aircraft, the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300.

The company also owns five different models of Embraer business jets.

The Phenom 100:

This private jet belongs to the light private jet category, capable of carrying up to 4 passengers with optimum comfort thanks to a cabin designed by BMW. It is ideal for short-haul flights, with a range of 2,182 km. Cabin baggage fits easily into the aircraft’s cabin.

It can also land on short runways, making it a popular choice for many destinations.

What’s more, it is considered reliable and efficient by AEROAFFAIRES, which regularly recommends it to its customers for trips to Saint-Tropez or Cap Ferret.

The Phenom300:

This private jet model is a derivative of the Phenom 100 and was certified in 2009.

Its interior cabin, designed by BMW, offers exceptional comfort and design. The cabin is also modular and can accommodate up to 8 passengers.

The Phenom 300 has a greater range than the Phenom 100, with a range of 3,600 km.

It is perfect for long-haul flights such as ParisMoscow or MunichGeneva.

The Phenom 300E:

The Phenom 300E (E standing for ‘Enhancement’) is the improved version of the Phenom 300.

Among other things, the cabin has been redesigned. The result is more space and a quieter interior.

It can carry 9 passengers. As Embraer’s CEO explains:“We have improved, accelerated and made even safer our market-leading aircraft.”

The Embraer ERJ 135:

ERJ stands for Embraer Regional Jet. This model is a regional jet that can carry up to 40 passengers.

It is a twin-engine aircraft ideal for regional group flights.

It has a range of around 3,000 km and can also be used for medical repatriation missions.

The Embraer ERJ 145:

This aircraft is part of the same family as the ERJ 135. However, it is slightly larger and can seat up to 49 passengers. It has a range of around 2,500 km. This makes it ideal for short-haul business flights.

Travel and baggage arrangements with the Pan European airline :

In terms of travel arrangements, this airline offers greater flexibility than traditional airlines. Operating exclusively in the business aviation segment, the conditions are less restrictive.

Unlike the major commercial airlines (Air France, Emirates, British Airways, American Airlines, etc.), there is no need to wait for hours at airports. This is because with business aviation, you have access to private terminals, which reduces the passage time to around 10 minutes.

As far as baggage policy is concerned, you can carry baggage depending on the size and model of the aircraft used.

Book your private jet flight now! The airline will provide you with all the necessary information and formalities once you have made your reservation.

In the case of special flights, such as cargo flights, flights with pets, or flights involving the transport of special products or objects, the airline will be able to give recommendations specific to the needs of the journey.
