Venice-Marco-Polo Airport, is an Italian international airport located 8km north of Venice, on the mainland, and on the northern shore of the Venice lagoon. The name of the airport pays tribute to the famous Venetian traveler Marco Polo. A project to expand the airport is currently under study for 2025, to accommodate more than 17 million passengers.
